Notts County Ladies Senior Development team bounced back from last week’s poor performance and then coming back from 2-0 down away to Clifton in the Notts Ladies Football League. County were again back to playing great passing football and had large portions of possession until Clifton got a free kick and delivered in a cross that went in from an own goal. Clifton were a bit brighter in the second half as County with only 11 fit players available this week found it tough going. Clifton went 2 - 0 up but Notts kept on fighting and winger Ashleigh Harris managed to get a cross in for striker Katrina Bloomer to score. Sure enough this changed everything, everybody dug in and no more so than player of the match Lauren Wilson and captain Ellie Marriott. With a minute to go Jade Zoe Benniston produced a long free kick that bounced around the box until new signing Leah Chester kicked it goal-bound and Jessie Knott nipped in for the equaliser. 2-2.
