A massive effort from Notts County Ladies Development team who were away to Bingham in the Notts ladies League, playing on a pitch akin to the 1970's, mud and more mud. But hey when you pass the ball around it makes all the difference. 1 min 30 secs in sure enough the passing paid off and Charley MacLaren bagged her and Notts first goal. Everybody settled well and the game was good to watch from County's perspective. Non more so than Charley MacLaren who decided one was not enough and swung in a great corner with a bit of wind assist to score her second. Not to be outdone the skill of Katrina Bloomer was soon on show and she decided to score two as well, one from about 25 yards and one with a great header after Cath Eyley crossed. 4 - 0 at half time and the question was who would get the hat trick. 15 mins in and Charley decided that one and scored with a great one on one to make it 5 - 0. Notts were relying at times with goalie Chelsea Taylor from Bingham pressure and her well kept clean sheet earned her the Player of the match. Huge praise for the team, Ellie Marriott, Jade Zoe Benniston, Nicola Tomkinson, Rhiannon Middleton, Jessie Knott, Lauren Wilson, Leah Chester, Chloe Bingham, Ashleigh Harris, and Eleanor Brooks for her support on the sideline
