What a treat Notts County ladies and Arnold u9s served up, a game full of passion and end to end action, Arnold started the brighter only to be kept out by the ever improving Tasia Bruce in goal who received plaudits from all those watching, and the excellent defensive partnership of Brianna Brown and the ever dependable Carlie Bown who popped up with 2 more quality goals, both goals came from great play through the middle with Poppy Waller and player off the match Kayleigh Street both showing great vision and awareness to set up both goals. But the goal of the game came from Ellie-May Bramley who went on a solo run from the half way line and cooly slotted the ball past the keeper to score her first ever goal!! Fine performance from all the girls!!!

This was the under 9s first ever fixture and both sets of players went out and played the game in the correct spirit with big smiles and with both sets of parents applauding both sides. Notts County entertained Southwell at Church Lane as well as a number of goals there was some good passing football and the confidence of the players from both sides improved as the game progressed. Notts County’s goal came late in the second period thanks to a terrific effort by Carlie Bown which also earned her with the player of the match award.

A really big we'll done to all the under 9s at the development day today. First run out of the season and they all did themselves and the club proud.
